After a two-day orientation followed by a Build Day in Providence, you'll head west from the shores of the Atlantic, across Connecticut, and over the hills of New York and Pennsylvania. Then it's across the Midwest and the cornfields of Iowa and Nebraska to the old frontier towns of Wyoming. Spend two days in Jackson, WY before riding north along the Rocky Range, and west across the North Cascades to Seattle. Return to top. Beneficiaries:
The majority of the proceeds from the Providence to Seattle tour are reserved to fund a student-built Habitat for Humanity home in Providence, RI during the 2007-08 academic year. The remainder will be distributed through the grants program where P2S riders will review grants submitted to Bike & Build and decide which ones are the most deserving. Bike & Build is pleased to work with Greater Providence Habitat for Humanity and Brown Habitat for Humanity to execute this project. Return to top. |
