What is the Bike & Build Grant Program? The Bike & Build Grant Program is a competitive application process through which the proceeds from our events are distributed to affordable housing groups throughout the country. Grants are restricted to finance projects championed by students and young adults, ages 18-25.
Why is the program being implemented? Bike & Build is implementing the Grant Program to better serve affordable housing groups throughout the country, to create more opportunities for young adults to become involved in the cause, and to help bring our program onto a national platform.
How will this program affect the contributions Bike & Build makes to en-route housing groups? The Grant Program will not affect Bike & Build's practice of making small contributions to affordable housing groups in the towns and cities that our events pass through while on the road. Our organization will continue to make these donations in honor of the groups that host our cyclists.
