Buenos Dias, Friends! My name is Heather Molina Ryan, I'm 25 years old and currently living in sunny California!
I was born and raised on the Jersey Shore in a town called Asbury Park, home of The BOSS and pork roll. After high school I got accepted into a wonderful University called Temple, in Philadelphia, where I majored in Broadcasting and Mass Media. My time was spent mostly with my studies and working, as I fully supported myself through school. In my free time I would ride my bike around enjoying all the history and delicious food the city had to offer.
Since graduating in 2006 I have worked primarily in the record industry and still do for that matter! I enjoy the simple things in life. I have always found great joy in helping others. Ever since I heard about Bike & Build it has been a priority for me to get involved. I can't think of a better way to make an impact on a community than raising funds for affordable housing. Living in Los Angeles you see the extreme need for affordable housing and I'm looking forward to making a difference in my own community as well as communities across the nation.
Biking across country has always been a dream of mine. One that I never imagined I'd be able to realize in such a profound manner. I have lived in LA for two years now car free and commute daily by bike. I see the beauty of the city and its desperate need for helping hands. I see this opportunity as a challenge but one that I am so beyond excited to take on!
