oh hello, y'all -- thanks for reading my bio!
I am a 19 year-old student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I was born and raised in good ol' North Cackalack, except for the few years I lived on the West Coast as a child. I miss that ocean a lot, but this one is warmer. I love love love Oregon, so I'm stoked that it is my final destination.
Here's what me and Terence Mckenna think about this madhouse:
“What does it mean to be human? What kind of circumstance are we caught in? And what kind of structures, if any, can we put in place to assuage the pain and accentuate the glory and the wonder that lurks waiting for us in this very narrow slice of time between the birth canal and the yawning grave?"
I believe everyone should have access to clean, safe, affordable housing. Until this is true, the burden belongs to all of us. I can't think of a better way to help mend this mess of homelessness than to GO by bike and DO some building!
gorgeous anklet, anyone? Christine Griffith is giving me 60% of the profit!

I've got an indefatigable spirit that kicks in when things get tough. I promise to be an encouraging force to my fellow riders, and I am depending on that same support in return. Riding across the country will definitely be a challenge for me, and I know I wouldn't be able to do it on my own. This is going to be a huge personal struggle, but I'm excited to put my willpower to the test. I have an able body, an eager spirit, and an intricate mind, and I would like to see just what I can accomplish.
