I think of the CWM trip like an awesome lazy river ride, with friends to make the rapids more exciting, and a full cooler of liquid delights. Ahhh....despite cureent stresses, this thought of CWM puts me at ease.
I am Barbara, an alum of P2S '08 and CUS '09. Bike&Build makes me so happy that I keep coming back for more. Mind you, I mainly love B&B for the people, because I seriously don't love cycling nearly as much as Brendan Newman who works on his quads with stretch chords to enhance his biking muscles. More power to you Brendan.
Anyways, I am excited to be with the CWM crew that doesn't take themselve too seriously and can jampack all the goodness of B&B into a short trip. I am excited to go on this adventure with old and new friends. I am also glad I have an official thermarest buddy named Joe Atwood...Brendan, don't even think about stealing my thunder on this one, okay?!?! You have Mark Smiley to nuzzle up with.
I am honored to recognize Chris Webber on this ride because though many of us did not know him personally, he is a B&Ber, and to me...all B&Bers feel like family. Let's have a great trip and continue our mission for affordable housing in Chris's honor. See you soon CWM 2010!...anyone notice how well that rhymes??? I feel a chant coming out of this trip.
